After spending part of his high school years in Michigan he completed his simultaneous degrees in Biochemistry and Genetics, at the University of California Berkeley, he continued his graduate work in Molecular Cell Biology. However, before the completion of his graduate work he was accepted into the Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at UCSF School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Darvishzadeh is a long-term (17 years) member of the Contra Costa Dental Society and served in different capacities on the executive board as well as the Continuing Education Committee. He is a member of several study groups, as well as, actively participating as a volunteer in community based non-profit organizations. He has a non-profit oral health organization for children addressing the needs of children in the underserved area of the world outside of the U.S.
Dr. Darvishzadeh believes in the patient centered care, in which the primary goal is to educate the patient and treat the patient the way they would want and choose to be treated. That is why he treats each patient with the courtesy and respect that they deserve. His exceptional communication skills and chairside demeanor help him treat and care for even the most hesitant patients. In his free time Dr. Darvishzadeh enjoys biking, skiing, creating architectural gardens, cooking and spending quality time with his two children, wife and mother.

Aloha, my name is Sarah Benedicto Barit, graduated in 2003 with a degree of Bachelor of Science Major in Accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. After working for a while in Manila, I moved to the island of Oahu, Hawaii and joined a dental practice in 2009. I worked as a Patient Service Representative and Dental Assistant. This shift in career has opened a lot of learning experiences and trainings for me. I was trained to assists with four handed dentistry, take digital radiographs such as CBCT (3D), Cephalometric, and Panoramic x-rays. I was trained with single visit all porcelain crown dentistry also known as CEREC. I am also a Certified Phlebotomy Technician since April 2014.
In September 2018, I moved to California to be with my husband. Together, we are raising our amazing son. We all love to travel and discover good places to eat and relax. We enjoy watching movies and baking as well. I look forward to meeting you and providing you and your family the best dental care possible.
Stephanie has been a part of Walnut Creek Dental for 11 years. She started off as a dental assistant intern and became a permanent part of Dr. Darvishzadeh’s staff. In recent years she has graduated from Saint Mary’s College attaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology in order to apply to Dental School within the coming year. Her years of experience as well as her interest in the field help her in finding the ability to connect well with patients, ensure that our patients feel comfortable and that they leave happy. “The most rewarding part of my job is meeting and helping patients. Whether it is helping with a dental emergency or seeing them attain the perfect smile, I enjoy being part of the process.” In her free time, Stephanie enjoys traveling, spending time with her large family and her two dogs.
